Filipino traveler prints out life-size boarding pass from Bangkok to Phuket, and the internet loves it
A Filipino passenger traveling in Thailand has won the internet for printing out a life-size version of his boarding pass while flying from Bangkok to Phuket.
Denz Blanco Tacud posted a photo on his Facebook page, where he was seen holding a massive print-out of his boarding pass while at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in the Thailand capital.
Tacud was on his way to the city island known for its numerous beaches, and wrote online that his airline did not accept soft copies of boarding passes.
“We don’t accept soft copies of boarding passes in Thailand, kindly print it,” the airline supposedly informed him.
This didn’t deter the internet from making jokes, after the post also went viral on the Facebook group Klasik Titos and Titas of Manila.
“Thank you group 2, the next is group 3,” one jokes, remarking that his print-out looks similar to how students would prepare for their class reports.
“This is obviously for good clean fun. But for those who are planning to do it, make sure you bring a regular-size print out, too. They cannot scan barcodes or QR codes this big,” another wrote.
