Artist claims he got removed from an art show after pissing off Eraserheads’ Marcus Adoro

Looks like the Eraserheads’ Marcus Adoro is in hot water again.

An artist claimed on social media that he was allegedly kicked out of an art show at a gallery after earning the ire of the rocker.

Text artist Lui Alacazaren made the claims on social media, accompanied by images of cut-out letters that spelled out “Fuck you Marcos Adoro” and “Fuck you Vintana Gallery,” referring to an art gallery in Makati City. Meanwhile, his Instagram carousel has a few more colorful choice of words, including “Marcus Adoro has a tiny dick, ” “Marcus Adoro threatens women,” and “You wasted my time.”

Text artist Lui Alcazaren said on his social media platforms that the art show’s gallerist happens to be Adoro’s girlfriend, and alleged that the latter showed Adoro all of Alcazaren’s email and DM correspondences with Vintana.

Alcazaren alleged that Adoro got angry and “threw a man-sized tantrum” until the gallery agreed to block the artist on social media, despite having a standing three-month contract.

It is unclear what supposedly caused Adoro’s ire.

“I made an artwork for [Xavier Art Fest] but no, I was basically out of the show because [Marcus didn’t like me]. This Eraserhead with a god complex, he’s the true boss of that gallery,” he wrote.

“But whatever, at the end of the day, galleries will still want him for shows. Celebrities will still buy art from a violent man. TV5 reporters will still be proud to buy artworks from an abusive man,” he added, referring to previous allegations of physical and psychological abuse carried out by Adoro towards his own daughter, musician Syd Hartha, and ex-girlfriend Barbara Ruaro.

Ruaro herself commented on Alcazaren’s post.

“Will never forget the trauma he put me through. Never,” Ruaro said.

“This man is a psycho,” Alcazaren replied.

“Yes. Abuser. Narcissist. No one’s safe around that man,” Ruaro shot back.

In December, fans threatened a boycott of the Eraserheads’ one-night-only reunion concert, recalling Syd Hartha’s claims of being at the receiving end of physical abuse from her own father.

This prompted Adoro to pen an open letter to his estranged daughter, who asked for a second chance at redemption and apologized for the “ruckus that I may have caused my family, the public, the sponsors and my bandmates.”
