Apparently, actress Saab Magalona’s face was used on a whitening cream product in Cambodia without her permission

Skin whitening continues to be a billion-dollar industry in Asia, as products from different brands line up the shelves. Yet this apparently does not explain why actress Saab Magalona’s face was reportedly ripped off and slapped onto an obscure skin-whitening product all the way in Cambodia.

True enough, the celebrity posted photos of what looked like boxes of the product stacked on top of each other, featuring Saab holding her arm over her head, and exposing her underarm.

The photo seems to have been taken from an old campaign Saab did with the brand Dove.

A Filipino fan living in Cambodia alerted the celeb to the unexpected find.

Y naman ganorn (Why it gotta be like that?),” the actress hilariously posted online.

“The design is very ‘this product must be high in mercury content,’” one commented.

“This is so random,” another said.

“Wow, you’re famous in Asia,” another jabbed.

While the scenario will likely have legal implications, it doesn’t seem like the actress will act on it.
